Description
This class covers leg strengthening through some balancing postures then moves on to some inversions and backward bends making this a multi-level practice.
The strength of your legs are important in practicing postures such as the Natarajasana (dancer pose), Ardha Chandrasana (half moon pose), Chakrasana (wheel pose). The practice integrates stretching of your hip flexors, quadriceps, and lateral muscles to help you progress into these poses well. At the end, you will be guided to practice headstand with legs in lotus, using all the core activation and flexibility from the beginning of the practice.
Remember to take deep breaths after each pose to maintain optimal energy levels.
