Description

This session features a progressive yoga sequence from low to high intensity, designed to improve the mobility and stability of the shoulders and upper body. Blocks, straps, and walls are useful tools in this practice. Suitable for all levels. 

The class focuses on breathing into the movements. Repetitive movements are emphasized to slowly ease the tension. There are dynamic shoulder stretches, chest opening, and spine lengthening poses, followed by various strengthening poses. These help open up the shoulders and chest, as well as increase breathing capacity.

This practice will help you move onto more challenging and advanced poses involving backward bending, twisting, and inversion movements.
